ABOUT OUR PUPPIES
Important!!!!!!!! Our breeding Border Collies and puppies are ABCA (American Border Collie Association) registered only. In order to preserve the working ability of the breed, it is our belief that ABCA is the only proper registration for this breed.
All of our puppies are whelped in our bedroom and remain there until their eyes and ears open and they start to crawl out of the whelping box. They are handled and checked continuously 24-7. At this time (usually about 3-4 weeks) we move them into our living room into a puppy play pen. They are now allowed visitors and get plenty of socialization from friends and family. They also get outside playtime, weather permitting. If you plan to purchase a puppy and would like to make an appointment to come see them, you are welcome at this time. I must have an approved puppy application on file before your visit.
We require a $200 non refundable deposit to hold a pup for you, so please make sure you are serious about your decision. Balance is due upon pick-up of your pup.
All puppies will be at least 8 weeks old with a minimum of 1 puppy shot and de-worming. We continue with booster shots and de-worming every three weeks thereafter until the pup leaves our premises. All pups are sold with a “puppy packet” to help with the transition to its new home. Included in this packet is a health certificate from our veterinarian, shot records, record of SHOTS STILL NECESSARY, food, collar, baby pictures, favorite toy, tips on training, general information on the breed and helpful hints to properly raise a Border Collie.
We prefer NOT to air ship our puppies. We feel it is too traumatic, not only for the young pup, but for us as well. There are ground transportation services available. We are happy to assist you with this process; however, buyer must make arrangements, pay costs and accept full responsibility for ground shipping. We are not responsible for any health occurrences during shipping. If you wish to have your pup ground shipped the 3 day money back guarantee is void as we have no control over the circumstances of the transportation.
We also utilize a simple Puppy Sales Contract in order to protect our rights and the puppy’s wellbeing (See application). You MUST sign this contract upon pick up of your pup. Please read this contract carefully and feel free to ask questions, or voice your concerns before filling out a puppy application.
